About Our Foundation
The Somali American Bar Association, founded in 2012, was born from a shared vision to unite and empower Somali-American attorneys through a strong network of mutual support and collaboration. Rooted in the ideals of mentorship, visibility, and service, the association strives to elevate the presence of Somali professionals within the legal field while inspiring the next generation of students to pursue careers in law.
Beyond professional development, its mission extends deeply into community outreach and education—offering guidance to law students, fostering opportunities for growth, and providing legal insight that strengthens and uplifts the broader community.
